The Work Sharp WSKTS Mk.2 is a modernized, versatile electric sharpener that provides precise and fast sharpening for all types of knives and tools. Building on the experience of the previous WSKTS generation, the Mk.2 model offers improved functionality, greater control, and enhanced work efficiency.

Thanks to its flexible abrasive belts, the WSKTS Mk.2 allows for sharpening not only plain-edge knives but also serrated knives, curved blades, tanto blades, fillet knives, gut hooks, scissors, axes, lawnmower blades, and other cutting tools.

Key improvements over Generation I:

Two motor operating modes: standard (low speed, precise sharpening) and fast (high power, grinding heavy-duty tools).
Modernized guide with two fixed sharpening angles of 20° and 25°, equipped with leather inserts.
Integrated 65° guide dedicated to sharpening scissors.

Two Operating Modes

The new two-speed motor offers two operating modes. The standard, low-speed mode provides increased control during precise knife sharpening. The fast, high-power mode is ideal for grinding heavy and tough tools such as lawnmower blades, axes, or other garden tools. This functionality guarantees full control over the sharpening process, allowing you to adjust the belt speed to the task at hand – from grinding and deburring to refining and polishing.

Precise Angle Guidance

The second-generation sharpener features a single, integrated guide with two fixed sharpening angles: 20° (ideal for kitchen knives) and 25° (for outdoor knives). This solution eliminates the need to swap guides and prevents them from getting lost. Additionally, leather inserts protect the blade from scratching and gently polish the edge during the pull-through. Flexible lower guides facilitate sharpening the entire length of the blade, which is particularly useful for knives with ambidextrous thumb studs. The ability to remove the guide allows for grinding large tools and technical blades, such as axes or lawnmower blades.

With the Work Sharp WSKTS Mk.2 electric sharpener, you can use this professional method at home to restore perfect sharpness to your tools. Abrasive belts allow you to quickly and precisely sharpen a knife to factory-level sharpness. Depending on the condition of the cutting edge, you can use abrasive belts in 3 different grits: 80, 220, and 6000 (included).

The set includes:

2 coarse P80 aluminum oxide belts (for repair and reprofiling the cutting edge)
2 medium P220 ceramic oxide belts (for general sharpening)
2 fine 6000 grit silicon carbide belts (for finishing and polishing)

Scissor Guide

The WSKTS Mk.2 model features an additional 65° guide dedicated to sharpening scissors. It ensures symmetrical and professional sharpening, quickly restoring sharpness to household scissors.

Free: Work Sharp Micro WSEDCMCR is a compact, pocket-sized diamond-ceramic sharpener, ideal for taking into the field. It easily fits in a pocket, backpack, or bag. It is equipped with a 400 grit diamond rod that quickly restores sharpness, and a FINE grit ceramic rod for refining the cutting edge. The sharpener has an integrated 1/4″ bit driver, allowing the use of popular Torx bits. The set includes T6, T8, and T10 bits, useful for disassembling, adjusting, and modifying knives.
