The main advantages of the Bigboy saw are the blade teeth ground in four planes and the long aluminum handle. To prevent the teeth from breaking off, they have undergone partial hardening. The teeth have only their edges hardened, the rest of them remaining soft and flexible. Precision grinding in the shape of an hourglass prevents the saw from blocking during cutting.
