Silky Bigboy 360-7 saw blade

Description

Large blade with a length of 360 mm, dedicated to the Silky Bigboy 360-7 saw. For sawing fresh wood.

The blade is laser-cut from Japanese high-grade SK-4 carbon steel coated with chrome to protect against corrosion and harmful external factors. The teeth set in 4 planes are impulse-hardened, so that the cutting edge is perfectly hardened and the core of the blade retains sufficient flexibility.

The precision-sharpened teeth of the blade, with an hourglass cross-section, have a perfectly smooth surface, which prevents the saw from wedging during operation. The chemical composition of the steel, combined with a unique process of heating and cooling it, ensures high hardness and flexibility of the metal.

The high carbon content increases the wear resistance of the steel, as a result of which the blade remains sharp for a very long time. In order to improve and increase productivity, one of the teeth of the blade is directed outward, which significantly speeds up chip removal. The large type blade has 7 teeth for every 30 mm of its length. It is designed for sawing fresh wood. The resulting cut in the wood is 1.8 mm wide.
