Description
The device uses a specially designed motherboard. The main difference from the old-style boards - improved interconnection wiring and SMD technology. The quality of electronics has been improved thanks to three-layer varnishing.
To "AA" batteries will give you great performance of up to three months.
Don't forget you can change the settings using our special software.
There are four buttons:
Button 1 – "New game"
Button 2 – "Change the team's color to red"
Button 3 – "Change the team's color to blue"
Button 4 – "Pause/unpause the player"
The new firmware allows you to change settings for 8 teams.
Use the Shift mode to make the device even more functional. Hold button 1 for 5 seconds to enter the mode. The blinking LEDs will indicate you have entered the mode. Hold button 1 for 5 seconds to exit the mode. If the user takes no action, the device will automatically quit the mode in 4 minutes and turn on a low power consumption mode.
Description
The universal remote control is a must-have device for rental clubs. It sets up the parameters of game equipment in a couple of minutes. Like the other remotes in the LASERWAR shop, the universal remote is made of black plastic. The device has small dimensions and easily fits in your pocket.
The weight is 134 g; the length - 13.5 cm.
Working Principle
There are only four buttons on the game device, each labeled with a number. Eight functions can be configured using the remote, but the main feature of this device - it can be fully adjusted to suit the player's needs. You can "remap" all the buttons. You will need a PC, a USB base and a laser tag Configurator to change the standard button commands.
Functions
By default, the remote sets the start of the game, changes color, doubles health and "kills" the player. After holding down the first button for five seconds, the functions change. They are colored in red on the device. "Reboot" allows you to change the following settings: start a new game immediately, shot power, zombie apocalypse and the last hero.
The remote control is powered by two AA batteries and does not require a separate charging device.
The smart PRO remote control replaces the well-known PRO remote control, which is rightly the "device number 1" of any laser tag club. Progress doesn't stand still and the new device can brag of more informative display including to 5 lines of the text, the convenient intuitively-understandable interface considerably facilitating a choice of commands, as well as the capacious built-in battery which can be charged from any USB-charging.
Energy-saving technologies and settings of economical operating modes allow the remote control to stay in sleep mode for up to six months, while maintaining its operability without additional charging.
The new remote has become even more compact (13 x 6 x 2.5 cm compared to 15 x 8 x 3 cm of the previous version) and lighter (125 grams instead of 295 grams). The OLED display, which displays several lines of information, allows you to navigate through the menu. The body panel is made of rough plastic, which makes it comfortable to hold the device in the palm of your hand without fear of dropping it. Turn on the device by pressing the "ESC" key. The device will turn off after the set period of time. Convenience, thoughtfulness, ergonomics are the fundamental things LASERWAR specialists are working on.
Charging the remote control
The device has a built-in Li-battery and can be charged from any USB charger or computer. The charging process is controlled by the indicator and is no different from charging your smartphone.
When the battery is fully charged, the battery life of the remote control depends on the brightness settings, sleep time and vibration level. We measured its continuous operation time with a continuously lit indicator and it exceeded 27 hours, and in everyday use, its activity time is measured in minutes. The power saving mode allows you to do up to six months without recharging.
Firmware Update
To update the remote control's firmware, connect it to your computer, download the firmware file and copy it to the remote control. To do that, do the following:
1) Connect the remote control to the computer via a USB cable. Enter the loader mode by simultaneously pressing the "down" and "ESC" keys for 10 seconds. Then let go of "ESC". The bootloader splash screen will appear on the remote control screen, and a new device will appear in Windows Explorer, where you will see a readme file with hints and an Internet shortcut, which will take you to the page with the description of the remote control and firmware:
2) Download firmware and copy the file with the extension .bin to the remote memory.
3) If the firmware is correct, the remote control will automatically restart with the new firmware.
