Cowboy Rifle Co2 is an airsoft replica of one of the most iconic and recognizable lever-action rifles ever made—the Winchester Model 1894. Designed in 1894, it was the very first commercial repeating rifle that used smokeless powder. With over 7.000.000 units sold, M1894 is considered the "ultimate lever-action design." It is also part of "Americana"—artifacts related to the history, geography, folklore, and cultural heritage of the United States of America. The replica is precisely manufactured using metal alloys to mimic the rifle's slightly weathered condition. Only the buttstock and forend are made from polymers to look like wooden components.
The rifle action works precisely as the parent firearm and operates in a lever-action motion. The tube magazine holds ten brass mock casings with a 6mm BB. Pushing the action lever down extracts the spent casing from the chamber (if there is one), opens the action, and ejects it upwards. At the same time, the mechanism picks up the next round from the tube magazine and moves it to position. Pushing the lever up moves the round to the chamber and locks the action.
The replica uses a well-proven and efficient gas system to propel the BBs. Two 12g Co2 capsules are held in the buttstock, and the system generates around 1.7J / 430 FPS using the 0.20g BBs. The integrated hop-up system is fixed and non-adjustable.
