Fenix HM50R V2.0 is an upgraded outdoor headlamp that functions as both a headlamp and an angle flashlight. A compact and powerful light source for various applications, it features a robust aluminum construction, an efficient Luminus SST20 LED (max. 700 lumens), intuitive single-button operation, and USB-C charging.

Fenix HM50R V2.0 – Compact 700 lm Headlamp and Angle Flashlight

The flashlight body is made of anodized A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring high durability. The transverse knurling on the surface improves grip and prevents the flashlight from slipping.

Measuring just 64 mm and weighing approximately 80 g (with battery), the flashlight is exceptionally compact. The beam angle is adjustable by 180° by rotating the body. The Fenix HM50R V2.0 can be used as a headlamp or a traditional angle flashlight, thanks to its detachable mount. A removable clip makes it easy to carry on a belt, backpack, or in a pocket.

The main light source is a Luminus SST20 LED, offering a maximum output of 700 lumens and a beam range of 138 m. The neutral light color reduces eye strain and improves detail visibility. The additional red light (2 modes) is ideal for night activities, as it doesn't dazzle, facilitates eye adaptation, and map reading, minimizing user visibility. The modified collimating lens ensures uniform light dispersion.

6 Operating Modes

The flashlight offers 4 white light modes and 2 red light modes. Operation (turning on, off, changing modes) is done via a large silicone button, allowing comfortable use even with gloves.

Charging the ARB-L16-700P battery (included) is done via the USB-C port and takes approximately 1.5 hours. The flashlight features a low-power warning system and an LED battery level indicator, activated for 3 seconds after turning on.

Battery level indications:

solid green light: 100-80%,
flashing green light: 80-50%,
solid red light: 50-20%,
flashing red light: 20-0%.

Additional Features

The lockout mode protects against accidental activation and battery drain during transport. The flashlight also has a mode memory function, activating the last used brightness level upon re-activation.
Fenix HM50R V2.0 Headlamp – Protection Features

With an IP68 protection rating, the flashlight is resistant to dust, dirt, and submersion in water (2 m for 30 minutes), allowing its use in all conditions. It features overheating and reverse polarity protection, as well as digital current regulation.

The upgraded, breathable elastic headband with reflective inserts ensures stability and increases user visibility and safety at night.

Light parameters were tested using the 16340 ARB-L16-700P battery.
