Elite Force EF 157 folding knife - Tanto

The Elite Force EF157 is a striking combination of a tactical knife and a gentleman folder, featuring a stainless steel tanto blade, quick flipper blade deployment and the proven lienr-lock. An edc knife with a very good value for money!

Corrosion-resistant steel

The full-length 94mm-long blade is made of the popular 440A stainless steel, which is highly resistant to damage and corrosion. The steel used has low retention (ability to maintain sharpness), which perfectly compensates for the ease and speed of sharpening.

Such properties of the steel make the Elite Force EF157 aimed at less demanding users and people who are just beginning their adventure with the outdoors and the issue of edc.

Katana-style blade

The slim blade with a Japanese tanto profile has a satin finish, which gives an elegant style. The tanto provides effective penetration and good cutting qualities, but note that sharpening a blade with this profile is more labor-intensive and takes more time.

Ball-bearing head

The blade can be easily and quickly unfolded with one hand using an enlarged f lipper or a double-sided peg. These methods are convenient for both right- and left-handed users, and allow us to operate the knife with gloves as well. Ball bearings are installed on the axis of the blade, which are responsible for smooth and light unfolding of the blade.

Strong locking mechanism

The classic liner-lock, valued for its strength and ease of use, effectively protects the blade from accidental folding. The mechanism consists of a spring-loaded slat that locks the blade, resting on its back side.

Secure grip

The element responsible for the knife's comfort is the lightweight G10 plastic liners. This is a glass-epoxy laminate, which is characterized by low weight, high mechanical strength, resistance to water, temperature change, as well as many acids and solvents.
The facings have deep scalloped frets in the style of a katana handle, which makes the knife fit securely and comfortably in the hand. Thanks to the use of a clip, the knife can be carried discreetly in a trouser pocket (in tip-up position), on a belt or on a sheath.
