The blade of the Silky F180 saw has been precision laser-cut from high-carbon steel with high flexibility and high resistance to dulling. The surface of the blade is chrome plated, which protects it from corrosion, harmful effects of wood sap and weathering.

Silky saws are distinguished by an advanced tooth design and a "back-to-back" sawing technique for maximum comfort and minimal energy input. Sharp teeth for increased efficiency are ground in as many as four planes. Also important is the fact that only the edges of the teeth are subjected to induction hardening , so the rest of the blade is soft and flexible, thus protecting the saw from breaking during operation or improper use.

The cutting part has an hourglass shape, as a result, the blade does not lock up during cutting as is the case with most saws on the market. The saw is folded in such a way that the aggressive teeth are safely hidden inside the handle. The locking mechanism allows you to lock the blade in two different positions, depending on the situation and working conditions.
