The Stronghold P7 semi-automatic pistol is powered by a 12g CO2 capsule and shoots .50 calibre, or 12.7mm, rubber and pepper bullets. The individual components of the design are made of metal and the body is made of durable polymer. Rubber, rubber-metal, powder, pepper or paintballs can be used for shooting.

The CO2 capsule is loaded into a chamber located in the handle. The quick punch system punches the capsule when it hits the bottom of the cap. This solution allows the pistol to be carried and stored loaded and ready for use.

The pistol is equipped with mechanical aiming instruments in the form of a musket and a comb. A double trigger guard, which also serves as a safety catch, protects against accidental firing. Textured grips provide grip stability. A RIS mounting rail allows the attachment of additional accessories such as a torch or laser target pointer.

The magazine, located under the barrel with a capacity of 7 .50 calibre balls,can be loaded with different types of balls: polymer, powder, pepper, rubber or a mixed set combining several types of balls. The key for tightening the capsule is located under the right hand liner. The kinetic energy of a fired projectile is 11 J.
