The new explosive LASERWAR device is already being used in all Russian clubs. The grenade is popular for a number of reasons: low cost, wide-angle infrared diodes – the device will rescue any laser tag player during a critical situation.
There are yet more advantages. We have used a different material to mold the body of the new version. We have also introduced a configuration mode. The changes made to the device have been named Trinity. Here is more about how the updates affected the guarantee, cost and comfort characteristics.
BODY
Since December 2016, we have been using a new polymer material to mold the body. The numerous crash tests prove that now the body of the grenade is very hard to crack – it will withstand dozens of games when used appropriately. The samples have been smashed against concrete walls, have been tested at abandoned building sites, and in various weather conditions.
We have completely redesigned the device's power supply system by placing a 350 mAh 3.7V battery pack and a special charge board with a standard socket for a Li+ charger or a Firefly in the battery compartment of the grenade. The upgraded power supply system guarantees reliable operation.
We do not simply make an unfounded claim about the excellent characteristics – we believe that actions prove words. We have increased the guarantee period for the new grenade body by two times. We know just how equipment can wear out, so we are eager to help laser tag club owners minimize their spending on equipment servicing and repair.
FUNCTIONS
The Trinity has configuration mode. In any modern laser tag equipment, quick functions change must be enabled so as to suit a particular type of game. The case when equipment can be quickly programmed and does not require any additional devices is ideal. Among such additional devices, we could name a PC, a laptop or a smartphone. To set up the grenade, follow these 5 simple steps:
- To enter the configuration mode, press the safety lever 10 times. A sound signal will be produced and you will enter the time setting mode.
- As you hold the safety lever, select the time after which the grenade can be used for a second time.
1 LED flash – the grenade can be used right away
2 LED flashes – in 5 seconds
3 LED flashes – in 60 seconds
4 LED flashes – in 300 seconds
5 LED flashes – in 600 seconds
3. Press and hold the safety lever to enter the command setting mode.
4. Press the safety lever to select the required infrared command.
1 sound signal – kill the player command. Compatible with the equipment by other producers.
2 sound signals – blow up the player command. When in this mode, the player’s blaster will produce a special signal when the player gets killed by a grenade.
3 sound signals – knock out the player command. The blasters affected by a grenade will be disabled for a 10 second time interval. Compatible with the equipment by other producers.

Description
Now it's time to introduce you to LASERWAR's lightest "explosive" device, the Trinity laser tag grenade. The device fits in your hand and weighs only 140 g. When designing the grenade, special attention was paid to its durability. After all, this is the device that is most exposed to physical impact - thrown to the floor and against the wall. Sturdy gun plastic was chosen as the basic material. In addition to external factors, constant interaction with the player was taken into account - the trigger lever must be pulled to activate the grenade. Gun plastic can withstand those stresses as well.
Six infrared diodes are fitted in the grenade body, two of which are located in the upper part. Trinity is another device for realistic play. It replicates the features of a real explosive device. The grenade is functional, with no superfluous details to be found in its design, making it look authentic.
Functions
The device strikes players from a distance of 20 to 10 m. The affected area increases indoors and decreases outdoors. The grenade goes off only when the lever is pulled. If you press and hold it down, the "explosion" will occur when the lever is released.
The main functions of the device are to kill players in the vicinity, blow up and stun. The grenade requires no charging and runs on two AAA batteries, the sturdy body and secure connection of parts protects all electronics. Even after prolonged impact on the wall, you won't have to reassemble all the internal components and buy a new device. Trinity will also endure two weeks of uninterrupted play.
Device settings
The ideal game is one with no pauses or interruptions to set up equipment, everything should be done in seconds. The grenade changes parameters literally at the touch of a button. To switch to Admin mode, hold the lever for a moment. If you hear a beep, you are in the settings. By repeatedly pressing
the lever, you set the time after which the grenade can be reused: one flashing LED means the grenade can be used immediately; two, after 5 seconds; three, after 60 seconds; four, after 300 seconds; five, after 600 seconds.
If you hold down the bracket for three seconds, you enter command setting mode. Here we are guided by the audible signal. One beep - the "Kill the Player" command. Compatibility with other manufacturers is supported. Two beeps - the "Blow the Player" command. In this mode, the player's tagger will emit a special signal when the player is killed by an explosion. Three - the "Stun the Player" command. Taggers hit by the grenade will not be able to fire for 10 seconds. Also supported by other manufacturers. Confirm the selection by holding down the lever.
