Hand-forged katana with blade type Kobuse. Blade with real hamon and with groove.

The steel used in this katana is 1045 and 1095 carbon steel and has been folded several times in order to evenly distribute the different carbon content over the entire length of the blade and to remove any impurities. Each sword blade has a unique pattern that is revealed through intricate grinding and polishing techniques on the blade surface.
