The Ganzo Firebird G8012V2-DY is a robust full-tang survival knife, crafted from 8Cr13Mov stainless steel. The set includes a polymer sheath equipped with an additional cord cutter, a diamond sharpener, and a compact fire starter.

The full-tang construction ensures immense durability and resistance to damage, crucial for survival, bushcraft, and demanding outdoor applications. The wide, massive 113 mm blade, made from 8Cr13 stainless steel (57-58 HRC), is an ideal choice for outdoor use. This steel is resistant to corrosion and wear, retains its sharpness for a long time, and is easy to sharpen – a key advantage in the field. The hard steel and 5 mm thick full-tang blade make the knife suitable for heavy-duty field tasks, including chopping and batoning. The knife's spine, with its flat grind and sharp edges, facilitates striking sparks from a fire starter.

A long cutting edge ensures efficient work. The modular design allows the blade to be disassembled by unscrewing the steel pin, enabling the creation of an improvised spear, for example. The pommel, which secures the blade, also functions as a striking tool and glass breaker, useful in emergency situations. The contoured polymer handle, with finger grooves and angled ribbing, enhances grip security. A lanyard hole in the handle allows for threading paracord. Bright inserts on the handle increase the knife's visibility, making it easier to locate.
