Fenix AER-04 gel on-cable switch

Fenix AER-04 is a professional gel switch dedicated to selected models of Fenix tactical flashlights powered by 21700 battery.

Functionality

The AER-04 is equipped with two buttons, i.e. a noiseless pressure switch (without a click) with high sensitivity for activating momentary light and changing modes, and a round tactical switch (with a click) for turning on the flashlight and continuous illumination.

The life of the buttons is 100,000 uses and they are capable of transmitting 3 A of current before a long time. Thanks to the suggestions of users, the second generation of switches uses a straight cable with an optimal length of 23 cm made of flexible PU plastic.

Design

The adapter is designed for Fenix brand tactical flashlights powered by the 21700 cell with a 29 mm diameter end.

The adapter is made of A6061-T6 aluminum. The metal was subjected to HA-III hard anodizing, which guarantees very high resistance to abrasion and scratching. The switch can be attached to the weapon in two ways, viz.

With the help of Velcro (included) - which allows you to quickly attach and detach the switch
With the help of 4 cable ties - for long and regular use

The AER-04 is IP68-rated, which means full resistance to dust, fine solids, and total immersion in water 2 meters deep for 30 minutes.
