The Dagger blade made of 440C steel is characterized by its corrosion resistance. The steel achieves a hardness of approx. 58–60 HRC, providing a compromise between edge retention and ease of sharpening. A higher carbon content slows down the dulling of the cutting edge, and excellent fracture resistance makes it a great material for a hunting knife.
